The adapter is a coarse thread with a diameter of 60 mm (2.36 in) and a thread pitch: 6mm (0.24").The brass garden hose ball valve/faucet connection is 1/2", it connects directly to the garden hose fitting and does not require an additional brass adapter to fit your garden hose. Please make sure the thread diameter of your IBC can adapter is 60mm.

Note: Please check the threads of your valve before purchasing. The adapter is a fine thread with a diameter of 59.6 mm (2.35 in) and a thread pitch: 6mm (0.24"). If your valve has a large groove behind the threads, the adapter may not fit your valve and you should not try to use threaded fittings as they are for dust caps.
