Designed specifically for end grain hollowing. The dual bevels allow for hollowing of internal curved surfaces and flat bottomed vessels. These tools produce an unrivalled surface finish on end grain. Ideal for goblets and egg cups. Comes complete with full instructions. Made from high speed steel and then properly hardened and tempered. It will keep a sharpened edge about six times longer than carbon steel and resist "blued" softening from overheating during grinding or from heavy turning. It comes with hard White Ash handle and brass ferrule. Long handle is 12 inches long with the tool being 7 inches in length. Overall length is 19 inches.
