Overview :SGP30 is a digital gas sensor that can be easily integrated into air purifier, ventilation system and Internet of Things applications. Adopt CMOS ens unique to Sensirion Technology, a complete sensor system is provided on a single chip, with digital I2C interface, temperature controlled micro heating plate and two pretreated indoor air quality signals to ensure the stability and accuracy of the sensor.
Features: SGP30 is a multi pixel gas sensor for indoor air quality applications. It has outstanding long-term stability and uses I2C interface to output signals with TVOC and CO2eq. Packed in a very small 6-pin DFN, the dimensions are 2.45 x 2.45 x 0.9 mm3. 48 mA at 1.8V at low power consumption. Tape and roll packaging, reflow soldering is allowed.
Operating conditions: The sensor performs best when operating within the recommended normal temperature and humidity ranges of 5 – 55 ° C and 4 – 20 g/m3, respectively. Long term exposure (operating and not operating) may affect sensor performance under conditions outside the recommended range, especially in high humidity. Long term exposure to extreme environmental conditions may accelerate aging. To ensure the stable operation of the gas sensor, please regulate your use.
Operation and communication: SGP30 supports I2C fast mode. All SGP30 commands and data are mapped to a 16 bit address space. In addition, data and commands are protected by CRC checksums to improve communication reliability. The 16 bit command sent to the sensor already includes a 3-bit CRC checksum. The data sent and received from the sensor is always connected by 8-bit CRC. In the write direction, the checksum must be transmitted, because SGP30 only accepts data with a correct checksum.
Absolute minima and maxima: Exceeding stress levels may cause permanent damage to equipment. These are just pressure levels under which the functional operation of the equipment is not guaranteed. Exposure to the absolute maximum rating for prolonged use can affect the reliability of the equipment.
Description
Description: The SGP30 is a digital multi pixel gas sensor that can be easily integrated into air purifiers, on-demand ventilation and Internet of Things applications. CMOS ens technology provides a complete sensor system on a single chip, which has a digital I2C interface, a temperature controlled micro hot plate and two preprocessed indoor air quality signals. As the first metal oxide gas sensor with multiple sensing elements on one chip, SGP30 provides more detailed information on air quality
The sensor element has unparalleled robustness against the pollutants existing in real applications, and achieves unique long-term stability and low drift. The very small 2.45 x 2.45 x 0.9 mm3 DFN package can be used in limited space. The most advanced production process guarantees high reproducibility and reliability. Tape and reel packaging, as well as the applicability of the standard SMD assembly process, make SGP30 destined for mass application.
