This new reproduction gas cap is compatible/replacement for 1970-77 Maverick, except with California emission. This vented gas cap has a chrome-plated, die-cast housing with a black plastic Maverick logo insert with silver accents. NOTE: This cap was used on the 1976-77 Maverick with the Luxury Decor option, but will fit 1970-75. The only difference is that the 1970-75 cap had the steer head but not the “Maverick” script.
