Remove the existing spark arrestor and bolt to muffler outlet, re-using original bolts OR by using the supplied self drilling screws to attach the adapter directly to the muffler shroud or muffler. NOTE: mounting holes might not line up to the muffler you have - NO WORRIES - use the supplied self drilling screws to attach it directly to the muffler or shroud.
  • This feature ensures a stress free installation process for most generator mufflers with No. 68 and 88 spark suppressor filters, and spark suppressor holes with 1-1/2" to 1-3/4" spacing.DO NOT remove your generators muffler system - ADD this system to it!
