  • 【Wiring Color Definitions and Connections】 Yellow wires (1 & 2): Connect to stator (AC output). Red wire (3): Connect to battery positive with a 15–20A inline fuse. Yellow/Red wire (4): Connect to ignition switch (ON position). Gray wire (5): Connect to tachometer (or leave unconnected if no tach). Black wire (6): Ground to engine block or battery negative.
  • 【Important Wiring Notes and Cautions】 The red wire must include a 15–20 A inline fuse at the battery to prevent shorts or overheating. Cap off the gray (tach) wire if unused to avoid accidental contact. The yellow/red ignition sense wire should go to switched 12 V (ignition ON)—unless your model has internal sensing—but always verify with your service manual for correct usage.
