Because of its durable and sharp characteristics, HOOTONG scissors have become a well-known traditional daily handicraft product with a history of more than 200 years. At its peak, there were more than ten scissors shops and dozens of craftsmen in HOOTONG ancient town. The products were exported to Southeast Asia and other places.

Due to pure handmade and complex process, in order to ensure the quality, the daily output of scissors is less than 30.
