THIS IS AN EXPANSION TO THE CAPTAIN SONAR BOARD GAME: This is not a standalone game. You will need a copy of the Captain Sonar base game in order to play with this expansion.
A TENSE GAME OF DUELING SUBMARINES: In Captain Sonar, up to eight players take on roles manning a submarine in a fierce battle against rival players. You and your teammates try to locate an enemy submarine in order to blow it out of the water before they can do the same to you.
COOPERATIVE TEAM-BASED GAME: You and your fellow players are split into two teams. Each player takes on one of four roles on the submarine the Captain, First Mate, Engineer, or Radio Operator. Only teamwork will give you the chance to open fire and win the game!
ADDED VARIABILITY AND REPLAYABILITY: This new expansion adds new elements to your games including five new scenarios, two brand new weapons, and different ways to play the Captain and Radio Operator roles. Together these make your games of Captain Sonar even more compelling and exciting than ever before.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS AND AVERAGE PLAYTIME: This immersive submarine adventure game is made for 2 to 8 players and is suitable for ages 14 and older. Average playtime is approximately 45 to 60 minutes.
