Our automotive body filler may also be used on many industrial and architectural surfaces needing cosmetic repairs. 3M? lightweight body filler comes in a creamy formula that is easy to mix, spread and sand. Manufactured with only the highest quality ingredients, our auto body filler is vacuum processed to minimize pinholes. The filler cures tack-free in 20 min with good handling characteristics. It resists loading sandpaper, so sanding is easier and you can use less abrasives. This is a two-component product that includes both filler and cream hardener.
3M 05800 body filler comes in gray (pt a)/red (pt b) and is packaged 1 qt per inner, 6 per case. Can be used with aluminum, polyester, steel. Cure time should always be considered on any application or project. Once applied, this product requires a 20 min cure time before it is fully set and provides maximum strength.
