Dies are CNC machined from premium SAE 8620 steel with a Rockwell hardness of 80. These dies are great for virtually anything you can dream up. Common uses are : -Providing rigidity to sheetmetal projects. -Lightening up builds -Dimple die skid plates-front bumper plates-floorboards-foot pedals-footrests and many more uses. -Use the raised side of the dimpled material for added traction on running boards and floorboards. -Or just use them to add that extra RAD look to any project !!!!! More Details: Made for use with a hydraulic press or arbor press. Holes must be drilled before you dimple the materials.(These do not act as punches) We recommend no thicker than 3/16" material. Customers have done thicker-thats your final call. We recommend lubricants when using the dies. This will reduce die wear and gulling.
