Heat Activated foamboard features an extruded polystyrene core with clay coated liners. One liner features a smooth clay-coated paper, perfect for printing. The second liner features a neutral pH heat activated adhesive. Our heat activated foamboards are designed for use in mechanical and hot vacuum presses as well as heated roll laminators. Adhesive bonds at 160°F in 15 – 45 seconds in a mechanical press; 160°F in 4 minutes in a hot vacuum press; and 280°F – 290°F at a speed of 1-1/2 to 3 feet per minute using a hot roll laminator. Ready right from the box, no need for mounting tissues or films.
