This single & double scoring wheel tip and QuickSwitch housing are only compatible with the Maker 4/3/Maker machine because it is the only machine that uses the adaptive tool system and can apply the necessary amount of pressure to score. Our scoring wheel will not work for any of the Venture and Explore family of machines.

Our scoring wheel tip is made of premium German carbide stainless steel, hard and durable. It is better than the stylus and makes deeper scoring lines. The scoring wheel is great for adding score or fold lines to be able to have sharp and crisp folds. In order to give you the best results, the scoring wheel with two different Tips, 01 tip and 02 tip. 01 Tip (single scoring wheel): is ideal for light materials such as print paper, regular cardstock, etc. 02 Tip (double scoring wheel): is ideal for heavy and coated materials such as chipboard, glitter cardstock, metallic poster-board, etc.
The scoring wheel comes with two different tips, which allow you to create one or two clearly scored lines. You will want to use one scoring line for things like cardstock and two scoring lines for thicker materials that tend to crack. Our scoring wheel tool set makes folding projects easier.
